Hades X2

70-90GHz

Cut the cost of E-band radios while boosting performance with the Hades active diplexer. It includes a built-in transmit power detector for easy calibration and automatic level control (ALC). Modules can be fully calibrated at the factory, with key performance data like Tx power and Rx gain stored on an onboard EEPROM. A built-in temperature sensor gives accurate amplifier temperature readings, helping with thermal monitoring. WR12 port locations and directions can be customised to suit your system design. Hades is highly configurable, supporting a mix of GaAs and InP amplifiers in both transmit and receive paths. Where extra power is needed, two GaAs power amps can be combined to deliver high linear output — ideal for long-range, high-performance E-band links.

Morpheus X2

Our next generation Morpheus X2 E-Band transceiver module pushes the boundaries of performance even further, supporting linear Tx output power in excess of 24dBm. E band represents the frequency range from 60 GHz to 90 GHz. Dell’Oro Group has forecast that E-band mmWave radio links will experience the fastest growth of all the frequency bands over the five-year period to 2026, with the combined E-band and V-Band market predicted to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25%. This growth is being driven by the global demand for XHaul for 5G networks, for which radio links in the mmWave bands can provide both high capacity and high data rate. Tower Top Amplifiers

Filtronic’s TTA systems are fully compliant with the most stringent public safety RF specifications. The amplifiers have excellent system flatness across the passband and low system noise figure while retaining linearity and out-of-band rejection. This provides optimum inbound coverage and dependable performance in mission-critical applications. The Tower Top Amplifier (TTA) is a crucial component in the majority of network base stations. It is used to improve receiver performance. TTAs incorporate a low-noise amplifier installed at the top of the mast and a control/distribution unit installed at the base. The tower-top element incorporates a low-loss, bandpass filter to protect the receiver from out-of-band interference and a low-noise amplifier to boost the received signal.
